Jane Marsh MSc
Jane started her healthcare career in the NHS as a nurse before becoming a midwife. She has worked in a number of different settings including all aspects of a busy consultant unit, a midwifery led unit and humanitarian work in rural Africa.
Jane studied Traditional Chinese Medicine at The Northern College of Acupuncture in York graduating in 2007. She completed her MSc in Acupuncture with a research study looking at the use of acupuncture in pregnancy. Jane has an obvious interest in treating pregnant women as well as couples who are trying to conceive. Jane has been involved in a number of acupuncture research clinical trials including treatment of depression and back pain.
Since qualifying, Jane has undertaken additional studies in pregnancy related acupuncture as well as treating fertility problems. Jane has supported countless women from pre-conception, pregnancy and into motherhood. In recent years Jane has focused her studies on deepening her understanding of The Balance Method which has included 3 trips overseas to train with Dr Tan’s apprentices.
Jane has a private one-to-one clinic in Market Weighton.
